  • Working at heights (scaffolding access to 22m intake/outtake tower and spillway walls)
  • Working with radius formwork (3m radius of intake/outtake tower)

STAGE 2 – Pipe Encasement

  • Designing and constructing a formwork system to hold sloping walls on either side of the pipe encasement whilst encasing 2m diameter pipe in concrete

STAGE 3 – Spillway

  • Designing a formwork system to pour 3 steps (90 cubic metres) of concrete in one pour (A total of 27 steps were poured in 9 pours)
  • Designing a formwork system on sloping walls on spillway
  • Using a walkway system to pour walls
