QMF Construction was awarded the contract by Stirloch Constructions to construct a Pre-Treatment Tank and Sewage Pump Station for the Nabiac Water Treatment Plant on the NSW mid north coast. The Nabiac WTP works will provide the community with many advantages, including a diversity of supply in the event of problems with the Manning water supply, additional capacity and lower pump costs to Forster and Tuncurry.

 

Scope of works on this project included but was not limited to:

  • Construction of pre-treatment storage tank
  • Construction of sewage pump station
  • Pre cast lids
  • Dissipators
  • ACH storage facility

Other aspects included working at heights, access constraints, working with radius formwork, working within environmental controls including bush fire hazards & working within a confined space.

 

Works expected to be completed by end of December 2017
